The Fat Jacks Story
About Us
Fat Jacks was started February 6th, 1985 by local legend Jack Mills. "Fat Jack" turned the former Shrimp House restaurant into a thriving business and a cozy place to eat and drink with friends, finding success because of his boundless dedication to customers and amiable attitude toward all. It was Jack's magnetism and charisma and the way that he focused on his customers, that turned Fat Jack's into a Texarkana landmark and that is solely because of Jack Mills and his personality! Sadly Jack passed away in January 2015 with a funeral attendance so big it was moved into the Texarkana Convention Center! The spirit of Jack Mills still thrives at Fat Jacks, as his beautiful wife Meredith Mills and business partner Lance LeMay strive to keep Jack's dream alive.
